MICROBIAL INTERACTIONS OF ANTAGONISTS AND SYMBIONTS IN RELATION TO HELICOBACTER PYLORI

The results on determination of character of microbial interactions of 158 associations isolated from bioptic samples of gastroduodenal tract in 109 patients with peptic ulcer and gastroduodenites are presented in this paper. Microorganisms-symbionts and antagonists in relation to Helicobacter pylori have been determined which were characterized by both high and low potential of enzyme activity. Within the group of bacteria which actively inhibited vital functions of helicobacters there were determined strains which are found to be competitors as well to the concomitant mucosal microflora with high potential of enzyme activity and to microorganisms-symbionts for Helicobacter pylori. The strains isolated are promising for development of probiotic preparations.

THE STUDY OF THE ANTIGENICAL STRUCTURE OF BACTEROIDES FRAGILIS

The common polysaccharide antigen of Bacteroides fragilis strains was investigated. The strains used in this study were: B.fragilis (¹ 13/83), B.fragilis (¹323) and recent clinical isolates. The polysaccharide antigen extracted by aqueous phenol methods. A specific antiserum against Bacteroides fragilis strains polysaccharide antigen was prepared. The study indicated that in most strains of Bacteroides fragilis the common polysaccharide antigen was present.

TO QUESTION OF INCREASE OF EFFICIENCY OF THE USE OF ANTIBAÑTERIAL FACILITIES AT INTESTINAL INFECTIONS

Reduction of valid for one occasion dose on the reception in 1,5 - 2 times antibacterial facilities on the example of pills of norfloksacyn in combination with the «Polidekanit granules» rendered the expressed therapeutic effect not different from an effect in a control group, but considerably lowered the risk of display of negative influences of antibiotic. The offered combination of preparations causes complete sanation from pathogenic microorganisms, having minimum influence on the useful flora of intestine. Introduction to combination of preparation with action enveloping and adsorbent is accompanied by the considerable increase of specific antibacterial activity due to deceleration of suction and increase of display of action of antibiotic on intestinal microflora. Introduction of the given complex method of the medical treatment sharp intestinal infections in clinical practice will allow to decrease side effects, duration of course of medical treatment of patients, and also expenses on the medicinal providing.

IMPROVEMENT OF THE METHOD OF SANITARY-BACTERIOLOGICAL CONTROL OF THE LEVEL OF CONTAMINATION OF HABITAT OBJECTS BY LEGIONELLA

Effect of different selective factors (heating, acid action, antibiotics, dyes, etc.) on Legionella spp. and on microorganisms of other taxonomic groups has been studied in experiments with model and natural water samples. It was concluded that during the sanitary-bacteriological control of water systems of natural and man-caused origin to determine their contamination level by Legionella spp (CFU/ml) in a more precise manner it is necessary to use the determined correction factor (1 - 2·104) corresponding to each selective factor.

The aim of study is influence of allogenic cellular myelotransplant in the subtransplantation doses (1,5x104 and 3,0x104 cells) to the hemopoiesis of rats, which were irradiated in the early embryonic period. It was found out that less dose of mielocaryocytes was more effective for normalization of hemopoietic variational parametess. It was shown that cellular bone marrow transplant may be apple with aim of regulation of pathologic hemopoiesis.

The epidemic situation with tuberculosis in 20 districts of the Lviv region for 2000-2004 years are investigated and analysed. The basic tendencies with tuberculosis in different age groups are determined. The changes in frame of the forms of a tuberculosis, feature of a pathomorphism of a tuberculosis in modern conditions are investigated. The situation with tuberculosis for last 5 years in the Lviv region remains stable, except for a situation in mountain and foothill districts. The stability of the revealed tendencies permits to hope on improvement of epidemic situation as a whole.

COMPARATIVE CHARACTERISTIC OF METHODS FOR DESTRUCTION OF MICROORGANISMS CELLS TO OBTAIN INTACT FORMS OF PLASMID AND CHROMOSOMAL DNA

To destruct cells of bacteria from different taxonomic groups with purpose to isolate chromosomal and plasmid DNA (ChrDNA, PlDNA) there were tested experimentally seven the most widespread methods: ultrasonic (gaseous cavitation) disintegration method (USM), guanidinium thiocynate method (GTM), proteinase K – method (PKM), method of rapid mini-lysis (MRML), method of alkaline lysis (MAL), method of triton lysis (MTL), method of lysis in agarose blocks (MLAB). MRML, MTL and MLAB are the most efficacious (by percent of destructed bacterium cells, free DNA concentration, integrity level for molecules ChrDNA, PlDNA) for genotyping of microorganisms strains.

In the work the author pays attention to the theoretical and cognitive aspects. I.I. Mechnikov’s scientific work which are not enough explored. It is made logical reconstruction of genesis and development of phagocyte theory, its creative methods. The author investigates some questions of heuristic function of phagocyte cellura theory of immunity. Here it is also determined the role of experiment in the explanation of complicated correlations of pathogenic microbe and human and animal organism.
