article is summaries some of the areas of current research that may
eventually clarify he mechanism by which infectious agents could act as
the inciting agents of autoimmune rheumatic disease. Authors tried to
assess mechanisms of viral pathogenesis in rheumatic disease by
focusing on known viruses capable of causing inflammatory arthritis
syndromes and comparing virally induced immunological aberrations
with those noted in rheumatic disease patients. The experimental
evidence shows immunological cross reactivity between autoantigens and
viruses. Proteins of commonly occurring viruses have profound effects
on the cytokine, antigen recognition and lymphocyte cell survival.
Molecular mimicry and immunomodulation by viruses proteins may account
for both cross reactivity with autoantigens and abnormal T and B cell
functions in autoimmune disorders.

Association
of mycoplasma and herpesviruses with high level contamination was
established (91,7 % and 67,5 % for acute and chronic laryngitis course
accordingly) after serological examination of the 52 patients with the
acute laryngeal disease. The basic clinic laboratory diagnostic
criterions of the mixed infections were been prolonged acute
inflammatory process in larynx and its relapses to 3-4 time in a year
and high level of Ig M and Ig G for herpes and mycoplasma. Besides main
disease's symptoms in the patients was been weakness, sweating, not

PHAGOCYTIC ACTIVITY OF PERIPHERAL BLOOD NEUTROPHILS AND BRONCHOALVEOLAR LAVAGE MACROPHAGES IN EXPERIMENTAL PNEUMONIA OF DIFFERENT ETIOLOGY Kolyada T.I., Brusnik S.V., Mikhailichenko M.S., Nesterenko A.M., Kolyada O.M. Nosocomial
pneumonia is an important problem and is one of the leading causes
of mortality from infectious diseases. The immune response in
course of pneumonia, especially the non specific resistance features,
is pathogen-specific and differs depending on the type of the causative
agent of pathologic processes in the lung. The staphylococcal
inflammatory process in the lung is accompanied by an increase in the
phagocytic activity of blood neutrophiles and bronchoalveolar lavage
macrophages. On the contrary, candicidal inflammation is characterized
by the decrease in these parameters. The most pronounced and stable
decrease in phagocytic activity was observed in animals with
inflammation caused by mixed infection.

It has
been conducted the investigation of species composition, population
level sensitivity to antibiotics of representatives of microflora of
secretions from urethra of 107 men that are sick with chronic bacterial
urethritis. It has been established that more often microflora of
urethral secretion of them are introduced by associations, which are
formed by three specieses of microorganisms, among them the leading
role have gonococcus, goldish staphylococcus, E. coli The leading
causative agents of chronic bacterial urethritis were mostly sensitive
to Ofloxacinum, Ceftriaxon, Doxycycline and Ciprofloxacin.

on pathogenic factors of aggression and shareware pathogenic
microorganisms is important for resolving of medical and biological
applied problems. Found that after exposure of UV radiation in some
isolates changed pigment synthesis, production of letsitinazy and
activity of plazmokoahulazy. The emergence of mutants could trouble the
identification of pathogenic strains of staphylococcus and cause
mistaken diagnostic conclusions.
