CURRENT STAGE IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF CHEMICAL VACCINES FOR THE PREVENTION OF PSEUDOMONAS INFECTION Gorodnytska N.I., Yasnaya N.S., Martynov A.V., Chernyavsky V.I., Kozubova G.M., Smelyanska M.V., Osolodchenko T.P., Peremot S.D, Romanova E.A., Igumnova N.I., Sydorenko T.O. In the
paper was described the current stage of development the Pseudomonas
infection vaccine. Both the advantages and weak points of various
vaccine preparations are thoroughly analyzed. It
is noted that no oral monocomponent vaccine has been developed so far,
although the metabolic exoproducts of the Pseudomonas aeruginosa
strains listed in this paper should be considered as those having
rather great potential for being used as components for vaccine
preparations to be developed. Therefore, we propose to produce the
reguired monocomponents from metabolic exoproducts of Pseudomonas
aeruginosa strains though inactivating them by ultrasound, high
temperature and ultraviolet irradiation, then to single out more
immunogenic components, to modify them chemically, to hydrolyze the
high-molecular components, and to obtain more advantageous formula of
monocomponent structure to be used for making vaccine preparations.
Then it is necessary to test the revealed compositions on animals in
order to study their immunogenicity and to standardize antigens if they
are immunogenic in case of peroral administration.

HYDROXYAPATITE DEPOSITION FROM AQUEOUS SOLUTION ONTO TIALV AND TIALV COVERED WITH COLLAGEN BY THE THERMAL SUBSTRATE METHOD Yu.L. Volianskiy, B. Sulkio-Cleff, V.V.Pilipenko, L.B. Sukhodub, L.F. Sukhodub. Thermal
substrate method recently proposed for getting hydroxyapatite coating
on titanium was used to obtain deposition of high crystallinity
hydroxyapatite onto titanium-based plate (TiAlV) on physiological
temperature. The coating was produced onto free plates and onto
collagen covered surfaces. The collagen was introduced to surface of
titanium-based plates in order to modulate possibility to get bioactive
layers of hydroxyapatite by the thermal substrate method, what is
important for improving osteointegration of titanium implants into
bone. The influence of pH value of solution on the processes of
deposition was investigated. The experimental conditions were:
temperature = 37 C, deposition time = 1 hour, pH = 6,00 - 6,3 and Ca/P
= 1,67. The best pH value for depositing high crystallinity
hydroxyapatite on target corresponding to 6,15, going down with pH
reducing speed of deposition and increasing pH to 6,3 decrease
crystallinity of hydroxyapatite. Collagen improved speed and
crystallinity of layers.
Key words: thermal substrate method, hydroxyapatite, and collagen.

Batrak E. A., Zavada N. P., Rjabova I.S., Shtiker L.G. There was studied an antimicrobial activity of antibiotics on a standard nutrient medium AGB in comparison with experimentally developed medium which contained packed red blood cells of overdued working life. The antimicrobial activity of the medications under circumstances of the medium obtained by the method of acid hydrolysis of packed red blood cells was lower than under circumstances of the standard nutrient medium AGB. By means of addition of the growth ingredients (glucose, peptone, serum) it is planned to achieve an improvement of growth properties of microorganisms. description of modern diphtheritic infection's epidemic process in
Ukraine is presented in the article. The possibility of
intercommunication between diphtheria morbidity, carriage of
Corynebacterium diphtheriae and nonspecific pathology of ear, nose,
throat is retraced. The structure and mutual relations between
representatives of microbial population at diphtheria patients and at
diphtheria carriers are characterized. The data of the influence of low
oxygen concentrations on biological properties and mutual relations
between members in microbial associations of tonsillar tissue are
adduced.

problem of intestinal infections remains actual and for our time. Among
acute intestinal infections one of widespread are shigellosis and
salmonellosis. In post-war years on USSR territory the chronic motion
of intestinal infections was registered. With appearance of antibiotics
they chronic forms was disappeared, but other problems remains:
appearance of new antibiotic - resistant microorganism’s strains.
Morbidity of shigellosis has a tendency to growth not only on Ukraine
but also in other countries of Europe and America.
Keywords: acute intestinal infections, shigellosis, salmonellosis, morbidity, antibiotic - resistant microorganism’s. |

antigenic preparations from C. diphtheriae represent the big scientific
- practical interest. A biomass of one toxi-genic and two nontoxigenic
strains C. diphtheriae received a method deep cultivation on
experimental nutrient medium, after selection of an optimum mode of
aeration and hashing. Inactivation of biomass of diphtheritic bacteria
made by hydroxylamin hydrochloride. Soluble antigenic preparations
allocated with a method of “convection” and liophilic dried up. For an
antigenic preparation from toxigenic strain C. diphtheriae studied
toxicity on white mice and antigenic activity at immunization of
rab-bits. The received whey tested in reaction precipitation with
gomologic antigene, with antigenes from nontoxigenic strains and
diphtheritic anatoxin.

article the author pays attention to insufficiently studied sides of
activity of scientists P.Kokh and L.Paster. They made decisive
contribution in development of modern microbiology and immunology,
creation of new conception of microbes’ world. The author shows
complicated way of investigation of Antrax aetiology, picks out main
methods, principles of prophylaxis of infectious diseases. In
